Chateau de Chantilly Triathlon Saturday

Set over the UK bank holiday weekend, the racing will take place in the spectacular and historic town of Chantilly, just a 2.5hrs drive from Calais and 40 miles north of Paris. Over 3200 participants took part in the hugely successful 2016 event. As we look forward to 2017, the event will continue to include a whole spectrum of distances, with races for children aged eight and up to the middle-distance race, Le Gantelet, first introduced at Château de Chantilly in 2013. Chantilly provides a fantastic and challenging race, with the 2.5km Grand Canal overlooked by the Château and its gardens hosting the open-water swim. Triathletes will transition within the Terrasse des Connétables and set off into a fast 20km or 45km cycle circuit around the Forêt de Chantilly. After entering T2, competitors will run the surrounding woodlands, the world famous race course “LHippodrome” and Chateau gardens finishing within sight of the beautiful Chateau.

Highlights of the event include stunning views of The Abbey and deer park, great event village and the stunning cycle route through the picturesque roads surrounding Woburn. Now in its 9th year, tri for life has raised over £2m for its charity partners. In 2016, we raised money for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and Melanoma Focus. 2016 saw the event take a leap into becoming of the UK’s largest triathlons with the event expanding to two days of racing and the introduction of a new half iron distance.

The Descente London Duathlon (Sunday 17 September 2017) is a run-bike-run event offering athletes of all abilities the chance to race through the stunning surroundings of Richmond Park while on completely closed roads. Entry includes an amazing Descente cycle jersey. Alternatively, you could enter Descente RUN10, London’s most beautiful 10k run (we think!), which includes a Descente running t-shirt, and is great value!

The Duchenne UK Triathlon is the ideal way to finish our year at Dorney Lake, giving you a final chance to take on our fast and flat course in 2017. Put simply, instant classic doesn’t do the Hever Castle Triathlon justice. Sibling bonding, friendship and sporting camaraderie were the theme at the Hever Castle Triathlon 2016. The World’s largest children’s triathlon continued the Brownlee spirit, with a festival of sport at the historical Kentish and iconic venue.

From our new event hub alongside the Thames at Kings House Sports Ground, Chiswick, saddle up and take on our brand new 55, 35 or 8-mile circular cycle routes! They’ll lead you through our capital city, taking in world-famous landmarks, crossing iconic and beautiful Thames Bridges.

Our 55-mile Challenge and 35-mile Classic routes steer by Big Ben, the Palace of Westminster and Downing Street, through Trafalgar Square and onto Tower Bridge. The imposing Battersea Power Station which has featured in iconic movies like The Battle of Britain and Batman: The Dark Knight, we then stay mainly south of the river, with the 55-mile route continuing past Hampton Park Palace and Kew Gardens.

The Winter BallBuster was one of the first events ever launched by Human Race in December of 1990. The notoriously tough event concept is now in its 27th year and remains one of the toughest endurance challenges in the UK; a ‘must-do’ race for every competitive multi-sport athlete in the country, it will test your fitness and stamina to the max! Set in the picturesque setting of the Box Hill National Trust site, the course takes you on five lap course of Box Hill and the undulating hills of the North Downs. Everyone who finishes the event is awarded with a free event hoodie that you can wear with pride after the event, your badge of honour to show that you took on the infamous BallBuster… and won.

Due to the huge demand for places on this iconic challenge we are delighted to announce there will be two challenge dates for Ride the Night 2018.

The challenge is on to cycle 100km around London at night. The route will take you past many famous landmarks including Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and many more! It will be a challenging ride that is achievable with plenty of training beforehand. The friendship and camaraderie along the way however will be amazing as women of all ages and from all walks of life come together to do something amazing.
